Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including images of artwork, text, graphics, and logos—is the property of L.A. ‘Nikkie’ Carothers and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may not download, screenshot, reproduce, or distribute any artwork or content without express written permission.

Purchase of a physical piece or print does not transfer copyright. You own the object, but the artist retains the right to reproduce the image.

Art Sales & Payment

Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.

Third-Party Payments: Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). By making a purchase, you agree to their terms of service.

Availability: I reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time.

Commissions

I do not typically accept commissions, but may make an exception in some cases. Please contact me by email at Nikkie@aniquiel.com to inquire about commission availability.

For custom artwork (“Commissions”), the following additional terms apply:

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [50%] is required before work begins. This covers the time and materials dedicated to your project.

Approval Process: I will provide two progress updates, possibly more. Significant changes requested after the initial concept is approved may incur additional fees.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion and prior to shipping.

Usage Rights: Commissioned artwork is for personal use only (display in your home or office). Commercial rights (using the art to sell products or for branding) must be negotiated separately in writing.

Cancellation: If you cancel the commission after work has started, the deposit will be retained by the artist to cover labor and materials.

Safety Information: Not for Children

Unless specifically labeled as a toy, my artwork is intended for adult collectors only.

Materials: My multimedia pieces use professional glues, metallic paints, and sculpting mediums that are safe for display but toxic if ingested, and may present choking hazards.

Construction: Many “creatures” contain wire armatures and small parts. Rough handling can cause wires to poke through or small bits to break off, posing a hazard.

Handling: Please handle with care, avoid over-posing, and ensure children are supervised if near the artwork.

The Pet Clause

I love animals and want to keep yours safe! None of my work is safe for pets.

Choking & Injury: Wire frames, plastic fibers, and small beads are extremely dangerous if chewed or swallowed.

Toxicity: Dyes, starches, and paints used in wool and metal work are not pet-safe.

Aquariums: My metalwork is not treated for submersion and should never be placed in fish habitats.

Please display your art safely out of reach of your beloved pets.

Shipping & Delivery

I will make every effort to ship your art within 5-7 business days of purchase.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. I am not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or customs.

Limitation of Liability

Aniquiel Studios provides this website on an “as-is” basis. I am not liable for any damages that arise from your use of this site or from the purchase of any products, to the full extent permitted by law.

User Conduct

When using my contact forms or mailing list, you agree not to provide false information or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

Governing Law
